I first want to thank my sources of inspiration for theses images (Farley Magadia, EJ Coronado, Lee Malabrigo, Jiggie Alejandrino, Christine Diaz & the MagMod community). Only some of you know me, and as a long time artisan of both graphic design and photography, I know a thing or two about good imagery, however, keeping humble, open minded and learning from these inspiring people help make me even better. Back in the 90's, yes the 1990's as a graphic designer, my contemporaires had a selfish "I'm not telling you my secrets" attitude. But here in this day and age of social media and YouTube, I see knowledge sharing is the core for success, I know there are those who sell their trade secrets, but these game changers don't do that. They encourage you to be your best and inspire others. Here's to the game changers and the can doers.

I watched the longest night of the year turn into day this morning. In the darkness and isolation, I felt so at one with nature. The serenity, the gentle breaking of the waves, the fragrance of the plumerias and sea air in every breath I took and the warm sand between my toes made me feel so glad that I am here. Then off to the distance I see a fisherman cast his lure into the ocean and I said, “Wow” what an amazing image this would make.

It was late afternoon and the forecast was partly cloudy with 20% chance of rain. It was just enough cloud in the sky to give that dramatic golden hour red shift I had been seeing lately. "Lee", I said on a whim, "do you have time for a quick shoot, I have a special place no one is going to yet." Like a great sport, she went with it an the rest is history.
